The Calabasas Coyotes''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 35-31 to Westlake, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Several Coyotes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alonzo Contreras, who threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns.
Westlake had a senior duo take command as Dominic Hunt threw for 98 yards and two touchdowns and Jai Bell rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Calabasas' loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-9. As for Westlake, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.
Calabasas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westlake also has no future games currently scheduled.
