Citronelle is 0-3 against Foley since March of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Citronelle Wildcats challenge Foley Lions at 5:00 p.m. Citronelle has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Meanwhile, Foley won against St. Luke's Episcopal on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Foley never let Davidson get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.
Not much got past Brady Nichols, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Davidson off the board. What's more, Nichols gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had over his last four contests.
At the plate, Kolby Jordan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Glass, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Foley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive games.
Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Foley, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Citronelle has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like Foley struggles in that department as they've averaged .436. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Citronelle might still be hurting after the 12-1 defeat they got from Foley in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will Citronelle have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
