Gateway to Health Sciences's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Kew Forest 49-43. If Gateway to Health Sciences hoped to take revenge for the 56-42 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Leading Kew Forest to victory were Joshua Paz and Sebastien Celestin. Paz scored 18 points, while Celestin scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Paz has scored at least a third of Kew Forest's points.
Gateway to Health Sciences bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Kew Forest, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.
Gateway to Health Sciences will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Law Enforcement & Public Safety at 4:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Kew Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
