When it comes to explaining why Colton-Pierrepont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eric Friedel. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. Friedel has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Cody Trimm was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Lisbon Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they bumped their record down to 5-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
