After flying high against the Highland Rams last Monday, the Thunder Ridge Titans came back down to earth. Thunder Ridge was beaten by Rigby 79-36 on Wednesday. Thunder Ridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.
Kambree Barber continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rigby, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Barber has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kinzley Larsen, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Rigby, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
Thunder Ridge will head out on the road to challenge Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Rigby will take on Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Highland is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
