Urban Prep-Bronzeville came out on top against Fenger by a score of 68-57 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Cameron Gardner was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Urban Prep-Bronzeville's points. Another player making a difference was Jakari Dismukes, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Urban Prep-Bronzeville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Fenger, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Urban Prep-Bronzeville will take on Westinghouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
