The Fort Plain Hilltoppers posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 victory over Northville. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fort Plain also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Leading Fort Plain to victory were Owen Castellano and Dylan Keane. Castellano scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Keane scored 17 points.
Fort Plain's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Northville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
Fort Plain will be playing at home against Canajoharie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canajoharie is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Northville, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Edward at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Edward is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
