Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside Prep). They really took it to the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-43 win. The Silver Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Riverside Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Travis Butler led the charge by going 6 of 14 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keion Jordan, who posted seven points along with nine boards and five steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverside Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Prep will venture away from home to challenge Silver Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they will head out to face off against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Academy for Academic Excellence is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
