Panther Creek entered their tilt with Cary with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Panther Creek claimed a resounding 75-39 win over Cary at home. That 75-39 margin sets a new team best for Panther Creek this season.
It was another big night for Chris Uwayo, who scored 26 points. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Logan Ware was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Green Level put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Apex. Given Green Level's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while Apex is ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Panther Creek's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Green Level, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Panther Creek came up short against Green Level in their previous matchup back in February, falling 72-65. Can Panther Creek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
