St. Lucy is 1-9 against Etiwanda since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Regents will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.
St. Lucy's managed to slip by Rancho Cucamonga the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Regents lost 3-0 to the Cougars on Thursday.

St. Lucy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mya Moshrefi, who had 15 digs and two assists, and Tai Wright, who had six kills and five digs. Moshrefi is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, Etiwanda suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Thursday. They came up short against Los Osos, falling 3-0.
Etiwanda was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-21.
St. Lucy's will have to keep a close watch on Kamryn Andrews and Meaalofa Tauaese, a pair of players who had a big impact on Etiwanda's prior game. Andrews had nine assists and five digs, while Tauaese had seven digs and seven assists.
Etiwanda's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for St. Lucy's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
