Leland & Gray has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Twin Valley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Leland & Gray suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 78-52 walloping at the hands of Rivendell Academy.
Meanwhile, even though Long Trail scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, Twin Valley still came out on top. Twin Valley took their matchup against Long Trail 64-56. The score was all tied up 31-31 at the break, but Twin Valley was the better team in the second half.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twin Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 assists. Noah Dornburgh was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Leland & Gray has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Twin Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Everything went Leland & Gray's way against Twin Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as Leland & Gray made off with a 48-25 victory. Does Leland & Gray have another victory up their sleeve, or will Twin Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
