Charlotte Freeman was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds for Legacy Prep Christian Academy. Freeman has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ginger Freeman, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
St. Thomas Episcopal's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-11.
St. Thomas Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holy Cross at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Hopefully Legacy Prep Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
