The biggest upset of the week belonged to Niwot, who took down 122nd ranked Niwot, 15-7. Joseph Miller ran for 75 yards in the win.
Greeley Central's Miller rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A Northern this season in his game against the Cougars last week.
Longmont's dynamic duo of Forrest Wetterstrom and Duncan McCabe proved tough for Greeley West to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wetterstrom threw for 137 yards and two touchdowns and McCabe had 43 yards receiving. Logan Goodner helped Longmont's passing attack out by catching one ball for 40 yards.
David Speidel made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Trojans bested the Spartans. The freshman grabbed two interceptions.
Joe Sanger was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 156 yards as Windsor topped Greeley West. Drew Bunday also contributed to the rushing game with 74 yards on the ground.
Niwot's Nathan Merriman and Elijah Noterman have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Merriman has thrown for 1526 yards this season, while Noterman, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 20 catches for 447 yards. Sanger from the Wizards leads the league in rushing with 734 yards.
The top two teams in 4A Northern will face off this week when first place Windsor takes on second place Mountain View. Last week, Windsor beat Loveland, while Mountain View topped Thompson Valley.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Mountain Lions take on Chris Jones' team. Mountain View's offense has racked up 232 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Wizards have allowed only 76 on the year.

There should be lots of points scored when the Wizards and Mountain View face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Windsor comes in having scored 193 this season, while the Mountain Lions have scored 232. The Wizards scored 18 points last week as they beat Loveland.
Doug Johnson's team was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Trojans defeated Mark Roggy's team 41-7.
