The Bismarck Indians were the 59-42 winner over the Valley Vikings when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bismarck took a hard 73-55 fall against Valley on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Bismarck has lost by exactly 18 points.
Bismarck's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sven Wilson, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, and Daven Miller who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Mork, who scored five points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Bismarck and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bismarck will take on West County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley, they will play host again and welcome Valle Catholic, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Valle Catholic is ranked 426th, while Valley is ranked 420th).
