Unity Christian entered their tilt with Spring Lake on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They never let the Lakers get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won 20 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Unity Christian got a massive performance out of Makenna Bareman, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most RBI Bareman has posted over her last eight games. Makena Sietsema was another key player, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3.

Unity Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Unity Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Spring Lake, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Unity Christian will be playing at home against Covenant Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spring Lake, they will head out to square off against Mona Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
