Make it seven blowout wins for the Rivercrest Colts this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Harrisburg 65-36 at home. Winning may never get old, but Rivercrest sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Rivercrest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Destiny Burks, who scored 25 points along with six steals. Burks hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Mykayla Banks, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals.
Rivercrest is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Harrisburg, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rivercrest will challenge Marmaduke at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marmaduke is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Harrisburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
