The Whitehall Vikings were successful in their previous meeting against the Shelby Tigers, and they didn't afford Shelby any payback this time around. Whitehall was the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over Shelby. The success made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
The victory improved Whitehall's record to 5-6. Shelby's loss pushed them down to 1-9.
Whitehall will take on Ravenna on Tuesday. Like Whitehall, Ravenna is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win. The Tigers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Muskegon. Shelby is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
