On Saturday, Tulia was the victim of a tough 69-48 loss at the hands of Saint Mary's Hall. Tulia has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nic Carrasco, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Carrasco scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Logan Becerra, who scored 13 points.
Tulia has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Saint Mary's Hall, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
Tulia will be playing at home against Abernathy at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Abernathy is ranked 872nd, while Tulia is ranked 883rd). Saint Mary's Hall and TMI-Episcopal will face off at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
