The Pelham Pythons will challenge the Bow Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pelham and Milford meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Pythons were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pythons have posted against the Spartans since May 8, 2023.
Caileigh Aguiar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Aguiar was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kacey Normandie was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Aubrin Berger, who went 2-for-4 with two triples and one run.
Pelham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bow, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Hollis-Brookline with a sharp 16-3 victory on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
The win got Bow back to even at 1-1. As for Pelham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Pelham suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Bow when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Will the Pythons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
