There's no place like home for the Woodstock Wolverines, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Allatoona 68-23 at home on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Woodstock also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodstock to victory, but perhaps none more so than lily conkell, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Conkell is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Emily Jacobs was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Woodstock's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Allatoona, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Woodstock will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. River Ridge will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Allatoona, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.
