Tinley Park has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bremen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will host the Braves at 4:30 p.m. Tinley Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Tinley Park got the win against Thornton Fractional South by a conclusive 17-2. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Megan Piotrowski, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, seven RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily Nuskiewicz, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Tinley Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Bremen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-5 to Lemont.
Bremen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Gluszek, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Nataly Castaneda was another, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Tinley Park, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tinley Park has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bremen struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Tinley Park took their victory against Bremen in their previous matchup on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-1 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
