On Thursday, Lexington earned a 43-30 win over Central. The victory was just what Lexington needed coming off of a 57-23 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Shoals Christian entered their tilt with Hatton with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Shoals Christian came out on top against Hatton by a score of 56-47 on Thursday.
Sarah Davis (2025) continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. The match was her 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Owens, who scored 16 points.
Lexington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Shoals Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Everything went Lexington's way against Shoals Christian when the teams last played back in November as Lexington made off with a 82-62 win.
