It was fun while it lasted, but Grandville's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unity Christian Crusaders. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grandville fell to 5-1. As for Unity Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grandville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Kentwood at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Unity Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hudsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
