They took a 21-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Christian. On the bright side, the 16- run effort marked the Raiders' highest-scoring contest to date.
Berkley Finke led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Riley Torres, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Beech Grove got the win against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Monday by a conclusive 26-1. With that win, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. In other batting news, Mylee Boling was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and five RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Harper Moore was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Beech Grove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
