Shylo Williford made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, McKinley Mills was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jaylee Nickell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.
Grainger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sevier County only managed eight.
