This is the second loss in a row for Homer and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Springport, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Homer and Concord will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Springport will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Hudson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Springport is ranked 175th).
