 On the hitting side,  Makynli Zemer was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Emma Watkins was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
Lindale's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
 Lindale has already played their next contest,  a  12-5  defeat against Longview on the 1st. As for Jefferson, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  a  12-2  loss against Hooks on the 1st.
