Softball Recap: Lindale Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lindale waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Jefferson Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

AJ McPherson looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Makynli Zemer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Emma Watkins was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Lindale's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Lindale has already played their next contest, a 12-5 defeat against Longview on the 1st. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-2 loss against Hooks on the 1st.
