The Warwick Warriors pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Larimore. Warwick has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Larimore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Myers led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds. Myers hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for eight straight games. Baron Burns was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Larimore, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.
Warwick will head out on the road to take on New Rockford-Sheyenne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warwick has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 346 points over their last five matches. As for Larimore, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-44 victory vs. Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on the 10th.
