The Andover Central Jaguars had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down Wamego 26-7 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Andover Central who now have six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andover Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Kitterman, who picked up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown. Maddox Archibald was in the mix as well, providing Andover Central with two touchdowns.
Andover Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Wamego, Abilene, and Valley Center. As for Wamego, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.
