Scranton Prep has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mid Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 7:00 p.m.

Scranton Prep easily dispatched Wallenpaupack Area last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Cavaliers fell just short of Abington Heights by a score of 17-15 on Friday. The Cavaliers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Mid Valley hadn't done well against Dunmore recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans strolled past the Bucks with points to spare, taking the game 28-12. 28 seems to be a good number for the Spartans as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Mid Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.4 points over those games. As for Scranton Prep, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Scranton Prep strolled past Mid Valley when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 40-21. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
