Frankton and Oak Hill are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. Frankton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.

Frankton found their leader in sophomore Trey Bennett, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bennett has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joey Wright, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
Frankton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-68 win over Maconaquah on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Golden Eagles have won by exactly two points.
Oak Hill's win came from a few key players Frankton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jace Tonagel, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 17 points along with six boards and five assists. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of RJ Shugart, who had 21 points.
Oak Hill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Frankton, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Frankton and Oak Hill are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Frankton hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.8 points per game. However, it's not like Oak Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 55 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Frankton strolled past Oak Hill when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 53-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Frankton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
