Lake City got a massive performance out of Payton Durga, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave Durga a new career-high. Chloe Read was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
The win made it two in a row for Lake City and bumps their season record up to 3-15. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games.
