The Elm Creek Buffaloes will face off against the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Elm Creek will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Even though Overton scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Elm Creek still came out on top. Elm Creek walked away with a 70-60 win over the Eagles.
Elm Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kade Sindt, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Nikk Brumels was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Ansley/Litchfield was able to grind out a solid win over the Wolves on Tuesday, taking the game 54-43.
Elm Creek is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Elm Creek couldn't quite finish off the Spartans when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 51-48. Can Elm Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
