Given Fox Creek's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 163rd in South Carolina, while Aquinas is ranked 488th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Fox Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Blake Holloway out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Montez Tillman, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Fox Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Aquinas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
