After a string of seven wins, Terry's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Jones Mustangs. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 15-2 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Makenzie Clark made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alonza Gholar, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Terry's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for West Jones, their record now sits at 3-12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terry will host Raymond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Jones, they will be playing at home against Pearl River Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
