Bridgeport came up short on Friday despite Aj Bishop delivering his best game to date. Bishop rushed for 192 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Bridgeport has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Bishop and Bridgeport will face off against Shadyside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Tommy Pergi of Catholic Central. Pergi rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Pergi could be in store for another big game when he takes on Conotton Valley on Friday. Pergi rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Rockets duked it out back in October of 2023.
