Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Liam Avery stepped things up a notch to give Wellborn the 'W'. Avery wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his six plate appearances. The contest was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Avery and Wellborn will challenge Glencoe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Avery duked it out with Glencoe (back in February), Wellborn came out on top by a score of 4-3.
