The South Cobb Eagles had to endure  an  eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a  43-39 W over Pebblebrook on Saturday. The  victory was just what South Cobb needed coming off of a  55-28 loss in their prior  game.
 South Cobb's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jordyn Martin, who  scored 12 points. Martin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.  LaDashia Taylor was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 South Cobb's win  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-8. As for Pebblebrook, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 1-12.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Cobb will take on Dunwoody at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dunwoody comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Pebblebrook, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against East Coweta at 6:00  p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Georgia (East Coweta is ranked 400th, while Pebblebrook is ranked 420th).
