Meanwhile, Central Montcalm's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 77-29 loss at the hands of Big Rapids. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Central Montcalm has scored all season.
Grant's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Central Montcalm, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Grant didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Central Montcalm in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 79-73 win.
