Leading York Country Day to victory were Isaiah White and Ryan Maus. White dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Maus scored 26 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Maus has scored at least a third of York Country Day's points. Austin Boie was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Dayspring Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Huxta, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Huxta hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Preston Kauffman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
York Country Day's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
