The Northeastern Clinton Cougars lost against the Northern Adirondack Bobcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northeastern Clinton took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northeastern Clinton in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cyle Marshall, who scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that Marshall scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Brown, who scored 13 points.
Northeastern Clinton's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Northern Adirondack, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeastern Clinton will take on the Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peru is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Northern Adirondack, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
