The Timberline Wolves won the last time they faced the Borah Lions, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Timberline came out on top against Borah by a score of 47-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Timberline.
Timberline got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emmi Swillie out in front who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Mertes, who scored 11 points.
The win got Timberline back to even at 2-2. As for Borah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timberline will challenge Blackfoot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Blackfoot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Tuesday. As for Borah, they will head out on the road to face off against Kuna at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kuna is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
