Softball Recap: Redwood Christian Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Redwood Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past The Bay School Breakers 11-10. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Breakers: they've now won five in a row.

Rachel Hendren was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Savannah Hendren, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Redwood Christian pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for The Bay School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Coming up, Redwood Christian will head out to challenge Tomales at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bay School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
