With a playoff win on the line, North Duplin rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over the Gates County Red Barons. The win was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on nine straight.

North Duplin pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for Gates County, their loss dropped their record down to 23-3.
Looking ahead, North Duplin will take on Northside - Pinetown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside - Pinetown will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something North Duplin surely won't give up without a fight. Gates County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
