Meanwhile, Hackleburg pushed their score all the way to 62 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Lynn 66-62. Hackleburg has not had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Phillips' victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Hackleburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
