Basketball Recap: Chase Myrick Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Victory Christian Academy hadn't done well against Adullam House Christian Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Victory Christian Academy Eagles enjoyed a cozy 52-35 victory over Adullam House Christian Academy. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 51-49 win Adullam House Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Victory Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Myrick, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. That's the most points Myrick has posted since back in January of 2024. Wyatt Bowman was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to four steals and three blocks.

The victory got Victory Christian Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Adullam House Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Victory Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 74-30 win against New Life Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Adullam House Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
