Hardaway came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Kendrick, but LaVasco Williams wouldn't allow it. The Cherokees strolled past the Hawks with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 14-0 for which the team can thank Williams, who rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.4 rushing yards per game.

Kendrick's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Hardaway, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Kendrick will head out to challenge Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Greenwave will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Hardaway, they will be playing at home against Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
