Pickens had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Adairsville Tigers on Thursday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win two weeks ago.

Pickens didn't let Adairsville take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-26.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Adairsville, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Pickens and Adairsville will both be playing Sonoraville the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
