Skyline is 6-0 against West since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Skyline Eagles will be playing at home against the West Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Skyline has three straight victories, West has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Friday, Skyline beat East 69-58.

Andrew Lindquist was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 14 en route to 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of James Bekker, who posted 13 points and five boards.
Meanwhile, West and East faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. West took a 75-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of East. The Panthers were down 56-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the defeat, West saw an underclassman step up: sophomore DC Auksitino went 9 of 14 on his way to 22 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Albertson, who had 11 points and five rebounds.
Skyline is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Skyline has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Skyline was able to grind out a solid win over West in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 55-48. Does Skyline have another victory up their sleeve, or will West turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
