The Waterford Ravens's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 48-27 walloping at the hands of Tabiona. If Waterford was looking for revenge after losing 49-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Despite the loss, Waterford still got an impressive performance from Anne Howard, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Holtey, who scored four points along with nine rebounds.
Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Tabiona, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterford will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (American Leadership Academy is ranked 121st, while the Ravens are ranked 105th). As for Tabiona, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m.
